New Dawn has Arrived
My inspiration for this piece is a sunrise in the desert that I saw last year. The colors in the sky reminded me of pink colored roses. I incorporated the Tudor Rose Stitch into this piece for this reason.
In this class, you will create a sampler using specialty threads and stitches. You will learn how to create twisted stitches and composite stitches. We will be working with several types of threads including ribbon, single loop thread, silks, and metallics.
Imagine stitching this sampler as the sun rises with the colors that bring the new day to light.
